Frist of all we are know that what is new historicism

the history is a mirror of literature and the culture .then history were developing to need for the culture , when culture depended to the history . The history provided to the literature and custom's of social anviroment .

Then new history is recoment to new historicism.it means ''if the 1970 could be called the age of decounstruction '' writes joseph litvak ,''some hypothical survey of late 20th century criticism might well charecterize the 1980's as marking the return to history ,or perhaps the recovery of the referent ''

  • michael warner phrases new historicism 's motto as ,''the text is historical, and history is textual''
  • frederic jamson insisted ,''Always historicize,''.

As a return to historical scholership ,new historicism concerns itself with extraliterary matters -letters,diaries,films, paintings ,medical treatises -looking to reveal opposing historical tensions in a text .new historicists seek ''surprising coincidences'' that may cross generic ,historical and cultural lines in borrowings of metaphor,ceremony or popular culture .
